What it actually is

Sorenne Clear is a hydrocolloid patch. It is not new technology — hydrocolloid has been used on wounds for decades. Applied to a spot that has come to a head, it does two useful things at once: it draws fluid out and holds it, and it puts a sealed barrier between the spot and everything else.

That second one is the benefit nobody advertises, and it is probably the more important of the two. You cannot squeeze what you cannot reach — and squeezing is usually what turns a spot into a mark that outlasts it by months.

Why seventy-two

Most hydrocolloid packs contain thirty-two and quietly hope you do not count. That number exists to make a pack look cheap on a shelf, not to last you a sensible amount of time. So you end up rationing them, saving them for a spot that seems to deserve one.

Seventy-two costs us more to put in a box. It also means you use one the moment you need it, which is the only way any of this works.

What we will not tell you

Hydrocolloid will not clear deep, unsurfaced bumps. Nothing worn on top of the skin will. If there is nothing at the surface, there is nothing for the patch to draw out, and any brand promising otherwise is selling you a story rather than a product.

We would rather you bought one pack that works for what it is for than five that do not.

If something goes wrong

Sorenne & Co. is a small operation. If an order arrives wrong, or the patches simply do not suit your skin, get in touch — a person reads it, and returns inside fourteen days do not require a form or an explanation.
