How long does a pack actually last?
Depends how often you need one. Move the slider to however often you actually reach for a patch.
Based on a 72-patch pack, one patch per spot, and an average month of 4.3 weeks. The 36-pack lasts half as long. Your mileage will vary — that is rather the point of having spares.

Hydrocolloid works on spots that have come to a head. It won’t do much for deep, unsurfaced bumps — nothing worn on top of the skin will.

How long do I leave one on?
Until it turns cloudy or white — usually six to eight hours, which makes overnight the easy choice. If it is still clear, it has more work to do. Leave it.
Will people notice it?
Close up, in the right light, yes — it is a patch, not magic. But it is thin with a feathered edge, so at conversational distance it reads as a slight sheen rather than a sticker.
Can I wear makeup over it?
Yes. Apply the patch to clean, dry skin first, then work foundation gently over the top with a sponge rather than dragging a brush across the edge.
Does it work on deep, painful bumps?
Honestly, not really. Hydrocolloid works by absorbing fluid from a spot that has already come to a head. If there is nothing at the surface, there is nothing for it to draw out — and no patch will change that.
Should I get the 36 or the 72?
The 72 works out cheaper per patch, so it is the better buy if you reach for one more than occasionally. The 36 is there if you would rather try them first.
